Here’s Your Step-by-Step Guide to Reapplying and the Cost Involved

Steps to Reapply or Reprint Online :

  1. Visit TIN-NSDL’s Official Website: Head to the official website for PAN-related services.
  2. Select Changes or Correction: Choose Reprint of PAN card or Changes or Correction in Current PAN Data according to your choice. Also note for Reprint of Pan Card, no correction is Allowed.
  3. Mandatory Information Submission: Enter essential details like name, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
  4. Token Generation: Receive a token number via email for reference during the application process.
  5. Personal Details Submission: Fill in required information, opting for either a physical or e-PAN card. Valid e-mail Id required for E-Pan Card.
  6. Contact and Document Information: Provide necessary details and submit the application and make the payment.

After Successfully Submission, The PAN card will now be delivered in ten to fifteen working days. e-PAN Card will be Received in your Valid E-Mail ID.

Both Indian citizens and NRIs must pay Rs 110 to reapply for a PAN card. This includes a processing fee of Rs 93 along with 18% GST.

Reprint of PAN card Charges:
• For PAN card dispatch within India (taxes included) – Rs 50.00
• For PAN card dispatch Outside India (taxes included) – Rs 959.00

The standardized fee, applicable across states, ensures uniformity and simplifies the application process.

Note : The Income Tax Act of 1961’s Section 272B states that having more than one PAN may result in a penalty of ₹ 10,000.
